The difference between PP non-woven fabric and polyester non-woven fabric is as follows:
1. Different production materials
PP non-woven fabric: non-woven fabric production fiber is polypropylene, which is a synthetic fiber obtained by polymerization of propylene.
Polyester non-woven fabric: non-woven fabric production fiber is polyester fiber, a synthetic fiber obtained by spinning polyester that is polycondensed with organic dibasic acid and glycol.
2. Different light resistance
PP non-woven fabric: poor light resistance, not sun-resistant, easy to aging and brittle damage.
Polyester non-woven fabric: good light resistance, only 60% loss of strength after 600h exposure to sunlight.
3. Different density
PP non-woven fabric: its density is only 0.91g/cm3, which is the lightest variety among common chemical fibers.
Polyester non-woven fabric: When polyester is completely amorphous, its density is 1.333g/cm3.
The difference between PP non-woven fabric and polyester non-woven fabric is mainly manifested in the above three aspects. We all need the correct way to operate and use this non-woven fabric, and we must also understand the difference between them.
